Spec me a sound bar

looks idea but the LG setup is all wireless, plug and play and should be a no issue setup

do you have a model number for the speaker setup? worth a look at least

I hope you’re getting cashback on that as it’s a bit steep at that price. People were getting them for around £500 last month with a £400 cashback offer from Samsung.
 
Samsung was the correct choice, when I was looking at the Q990D last Dec the equivalent LG model(s) weren't nearly as good according to reviews.
 
Any experience or thoughts on the LG S95TR system? I’m about to upgrade my almost ten year old LG OLED for a 77 G5 in the BF sales and the retailer has a deal giving you $1000 off an LG soundbar. The S95 is $1,400 so not spending an extra $400 to get one seems a bit daft, even if I were to sell it on.
I like the idea of it being a straight out the box system and it likely being better when paired to an LG TV. I currently have a first gen Sonos soundbar, sub and play 1 rears and tbh I’ve never been completely impressed by them and having to use that app is a pain even though I have Sonos music everywhere else in the house.
 
@Vandle that’s not a bad soundbar and you can use it alongside the LG TV speakers which can help boost the centre a bit.

The Samsung mentioned above does beat it but it’s very unlikely you’d ever get it for anywhere near $400 as that’s like £200?

The latest top end Sonos setup is also excellent but I can never recommend it due to the cost.

Yeah incredible deal, bought it anyway. TBH I'm fed up of the Sonos gear a bit and may transition away from it in the coming years. The home theatre is 4 speakers of what is a 15 part system that includes an amp and outdoor speakers so will be a long process. Hoping for good things when paring it with the new TV which came today, soundbar and some new HDMI leads coming Wednesday :)
 
Q990f arrived an setup on Monday so a couple of days of use now


Very happy after a bit of light adjustment and very impressed with both quality and volume. The twin sub setup is definitely a super star though but of praise the lord by asap to give it a workout really let it shine
Very happy and whilst I could have got more for less with seperates an overall easy experience for purchase setup and reasonable vfm

I picked one up in the last sale & cashback offer. The sub is a big improvement over the 990D variant. It’s tiny compared to the last but packs a huge punch for its size.
