I'll be trying it tomorrow so we shall see then.
The opening forest area was awful for visuals, lack of shadows and ao

Amazing.
That's just RTGI, the reflections RT option has nothing to do with water reflections and that video shows no scene that has any body of water.

3 seconds of a puddle is not "some" lol. The video thumbnail shows actual water, but that scene is not in the video. Clickbait thumbnail. My GIF above is an accurate representation of what reflections on water are like, and there is a lot of water to see at leats in the first half of the game so far as you explore.
RTGI is fine if we cherry pick specific areas that aren't representative of most of the game world like in the video, but it's silly to not have RT water too as nothing is more distracting in a game like this than massive amounts of transparency obfuscation of your weapon and hands around water.
water reflections are still SSR
Points to any of you that finish the gameIt's a strange hobby we all have, expensive and frustrating but we love it.
What about really big puddles? It's pretty clear that when I say water I mean large areas of water, a puddle is nonsense lol.
Watching two RTX diehards talking about water puddles
