Its my annual GOTY thread time ! 2025 edition

It appears that I've not bought a single game this year that qualifies, either they are older ones or early access, oh well maybe next year :D
 
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Excellent story, great characters, atmosphere and soundtrack. Accessible, with a main story line that can be completed by your average gamer.
 
I'm torn between Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 & Expedition 33. Both really great games. But I think Kingdom Come pips it for me.
 
A bit controversial this one (was released in china last year Dec 2024, rest of world this year November 2025, and is on going next year)

Where Winds Meet (PC)
currently half way through main campaign at lv55 with 60hrs clocked, with tons to do still and further expansions next year

Not my sort of game but I do hear a lot of people saying good things about it
 
Surprised no votes for Tarkov yet now that it's finally out. I've not played it so don't take it as a vote :)

The only new game I played this year is Escape From Duckov and while it's fun I wouldn't say it's a GOTY material.
