NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - Technical/General Discussion

Best decision to buy a 5090FE now while it's still £1799.99 :D could see some crazy market activity next year from AIB's at least and that took a while since last drop.
Bah, I've already ordered Zotac but that's fine. Longer warranty by far and I plan to resale it later and people like that fact. Plus I heard really bad opinions of direct Nvidia support these days, after they took it in house fully, with people waiting days for any response and being forced to jump through hoops.

Read about someone using it on a Suprim Liquid :D wish me luck

Unfortunately from all the reading the Matrix Bios is the better performer, still flashed the bios anyway, and pumped 1000Watts of juice through my cables during a 3dmark speedway bench and got just over 16000 but the sheer power demands had my temps up to 75 (toasty)

Matrix Bios users getting 17K-18K

Still fun to have the option to go from 400W to 1200W - but looks I still need to go the Master/Waterforce route with or without a 2nd 12vhpwr.

Yeah could be the frequencies of the whine, piercing through also.

Which is harder to capture on your phone.

Undervolt may help?
I've changed my UV around with some value changes - so that and a few extended furmark stress tests seemed to have helped. Still not perfect but better than it has been for the past few weeks!

I was expecting next day delivery but I’ve had no DPD tracking come through yet. :p
Aye same. It did say it could take a couple of days on the site. It’s fine I’m in no rush, only bought it so I could put my 4090 into my downstairs PC. It’s got a 3080 which is struggling a bit even with DLSS at 4K.

Ah I didn’t see that, it was saying next business day delivery via DPD.

I don't think they've updated the shipping information since moving from the previous UK partner that handled it all. Previous ones were very good at getting things picked, packed and shipped for next day, Nvidia handling it themselves seems to be a bit of a learning curve to kick things off.

The previous partner is still the partner. Look on the shipping box when it arrives. You'll see their name.
