Currrently playing The Thaumaturge as it was only around £3 in one of the sales recently.

Not bad. Nice setting and general atmosphere. Already getting a bit samey in terms of the gameplay loop, mind, even though I think I am still in Act 1.

I did the same 2 week ago and kept going purely for the story had me hooked for a week as I chipped away at it, combat is ok but nothing great it does open up slightly once you've got more perks and access to more 'monsters'

Yeah, I feel 90% sure I will stick with because I'm interested in seeing the story unfold and I still like the general world-building. I know you can/should swap out your skill allocations but it feels a bit of a faff and I'm not sure the payoff is worth it.

There's something like 12 endings depending what you do / choices etc :)

FM26 mostly at the moment.
Trying to play this myself can't seem to make any progress on it too many bloated options and notifications keep flying into the inbox not only that annoying bugs. Keeps wanting me to do a tutorial each time I load up the game and it won't save my graphics settings. Hope fixes are on the way!

Don't get me started! It is a lot less painful once you really get to know your way around, but only in the sense that having one arm chopped off is less painful than two.

After sorting my PC out so I can load Steam again I have been playing Dawn of War 2. Bought the 3rd one as I missed it while my PC was lacking a video card and forgot about it. I know I own the first one but it doesn't show one Steam.

I have a list of games I would like to play but system doesn't meet the min spec for so many now.

Also, I am now terrible with mouse and keyboard, thanks Playstation+age .

I have sunk many late night hours into BF6 recently but have a long list of single player games to get through. Unfortunately, the storyline games don't seem so appealing after work->commute->kids->dinner

I'll get round to them one day!

I feel like I've got a nice rotation of games on at the moment. Still primarily The Finals - but it's been nice playing some BF6 one night a week with some IRL friends who have decided to sack off COD for the first time in years. It's a nice change of pace, the big sort of huge shooter where you can switch your brain off a little.

Outside of that - Arc Raiders (although I'm not playing as much as I did at release, still 1 or 2 times every 2 weeks though) and then just finishing of Ghost of Yotei.

We did play a bit of Helldivers 2 over the weekend which was great but there's definitely a lot of good games to rotate between right now.

I'm actually really enjoying Escape from Duckov.

Extraction shooters are 100% not my normal bag, but the silly yet serious appraoch, single player focus paired with ability to play in extremely short bursts is great as an "older" player.

NMS, Halo Master chief collection, CnC3 with mods, Act of Aggression with mods, Warhammer 40k, Titanfall 2, Mars Opportunity
And I recently got one of those modern updates on the good old GameBoy so I've been Gods on that.

It doesn't take long for KB+M skills to return, swapping the other way round is far more painful!

I think this is true to point until I hit the point where I realise how bad my reaction time is compared to ten or twenty years ago. Must try a first person shooter for a laugh :p.

I feel your pain, I don't even bother with online shooters anymore, my reaction times are crazy slow these days. ARC Raiders looks a lot of fun but just no.

Currently playing The Crew Motorfest. Well I have been all year and I still haven't completed it :D

Stopped playing DoTA and been working through single player games on GamePass. So far completed Robocop, Rogue Trader and The Outer Worlds 2. Have just started Banishers and have Total Chaos, Avowed and Fallout Tactics to try. Still play a bit of Rainbow 6 too.

Also playing UFO 50.

Imagine 50 top class 80s / 90s inspired games, super hard like they used ot be, but will great controls and QoL like saving / pacing.

Genuinely, some of these 50 are better than full games in terms of depth and tighness of controls and gameplay.
