Its my annual GOTY thread time ! 2025 edition

For me, Stalker 2 - and yes I know it was a bit disappointing, ran like a 3-legged dog with radiation poisoning etc. etc.

However, the atmosphere was great and I found it really immersive once I got into it.

EDIT: not allowed, it came out in 2024 apparently. My memory is dust these days.

Do you know I honestly can't think of one this year that's really stood out for me, I've mainly been playing games that were released in different years.

I guess if I had to pick one I'd say R.E.P.O in terms of pure enjoyment, had such a laugh online playing with mates after a few beers.

I think the only major 2025 release I've played so far is Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, yet to finish it for a final verdict but enjoyed what I've played so far... so I that gets my vote for now.

Certainly scores well in reviews, I cant pop it on the list though as its in early access :)
 
Megabonk - smiles per hour was very high. Spent most of the year just playing indy and arpg games, all the top contenders are on wishlists waiting for discounts
