So tomorrow.

Lando lets Max lead into turn 1 and follows him through in P2. Oscar doesn’t challenge Lando and settles into P3 and effectively keeps the rest of the pack away from Lando.

And Lando wins the WDC.
With 5 laps to go, Latifi streaks across the track. Both McLarens crash after catching a glimpse of his manhood. The world is right again.

So what's the script for tomorrow?

Lando drops a place off the line to Piastri, Russell takes him on the straight to drop to 4th. Lando spends the entire race trying to pass George, who moves over on the last lap to let Lando win the title and then gives Max the middle finger on the cool down lap :p

Something like that. I see the first part happening, then I see a flustered Norris making an unforced error and giving up 4th.

It's still shocking how it has come to this Mclaren should have had both championships wrapped up ages ago.

Is it down to the team or the drivers (For me it's the drivers)

This what happens in teams with equal drivers allowed to race, they take a share of the points rather than one driver collecting virtually all of them, so the driver's championship is much more open.

Max gives up lead to Lando, Yuki falls back through the field mid race and then causes a SC, just before Max reaches pits but Lando has already gone past. Max pits, so so few others in top ten, Lando ends up behind them after pitting next lap and doesn't pass enough to win championship.

Tomorrow feels like one of those days that's going to deliver one of two extremes - chaos at the start, safety cars galore and changing championship positions all the way to the line OR they'll all get through cleanly, Norris will settle for second or third and we might be lucky enough to see Piastri have a hopeful pop at Verstappen on the off chance Norris retires but otherwise they'll all just cruise to the finish.

That tends to be the way in theee scenarios. Hopefully it’s the former, excited for the race.

That's part of the picture but they've lost a load of points to mistakes from both the team and the drivers. Literally just got a double DSQ.

Even with the mistakes wouldn't have made much difference if didn't have evenly matched drivers so can't favour either
