If anything it’ll have just boosted Verstappen to the next level of confidence. He shouldn’t have even been in play for this years WDC. This is Norris’ only year in my eyes, but he did achieve it though.

Boosted confidence won't do much if the car doesn't perform, too much unknowns to know what's gonna happen next season

Red Bull really need two actual 'drivers' next year that perform in a car designed for more than one person, they could have been 4th in the constructors this year which would have cost them a fortune - they've won neither WCC or WDC this year so low marketing opportunity. I have a feeling Mercedes will be strong next year, but lets see what winter testing brings.
