Thinking of baby names

Nirvana - a dope smoker, or one of the parents are Indian. Imagine seeing that first name on a job application or CV

It's a terrible choice for a name, and anyone hearing it as it's called out will automatically think of the band because that's the era of music that most of her friends parents would have been around in.
Whilst on a recent hospital trip, we met a newly qualified Doctor Tinkerbell. And her last name was triple hyphenated.

She openly admitted that her parents are dicks.

...I'm not kidding.

Yeah exactly, this seriously highlights the impact (rightly or wrongly) that a name can have on working in high professional career. Imagine hiring a lawyer to defend you called Tinkerbell.

There's plenty of countries around the world that have laws around child names, whether you have to select from a pre-approved list, or names that don't conform to that countries traditions. It seems in the UK you're pretty much free to choose what you want, and it's clear for decades that some parents have been taking the **** with it.

Well I think you’re wrong that it’s a terrible name, what’s your name anyway ?

Even if her first name was normal a hyphenated surname is a massive red flag but never came across a triple!

what does everybody think of nirvana?
I used to know a Nirvana, her last name was Box and I could never convince her to draw a heart in the middle when doing a signature.

Dont think she liked the name, and me suggesting the heart shape signature constantly is probably why we dont speak anymore
