Hi guys,

Any help with the above issue? I have a hobby build based around a B450M PRO-M2 MAX, which only gets turned on half a dozen or so times a year, very light use. Anyway, upon turning it on yesterday, I appear to have lost sound?

I've tried all the usual, updated Windows, my drivers etc. Reset the bios, changed the CMOS battery - drained the power from my system.

The Realtek device still appears in Device Manager as working.

Anything else to try?

Thanks!

Is it deffo set to the correct audio device and output in windows? It may have defaulted to a secondary output such as Nvidia audio if you have an nvidia card.

So weird, some big Windows updates and a few restarts later and sound is back! I have a Dell monitor and it has a sound bar - I think the 3.5mm jack may have needed a wiggle also? It's difficult to say exactly what it was causing the issue but I'm all sorted now ;)

Thanks for the reply!
