I saw one guy on Reddit post something like 5500 hrs played this year ( actually just over 11 months ). That means he played like 16 hrs / day.

Guessing that got be a kid that doesn't go to school and his parents do all the cooking,washing,house painting,Dishes,Cleaning the car,making bed,Shopping etc etc etc

Yep. Adult life severely impacts gaming time. I'm lucky if I get 1-1.5 hours of gaming in the evening 4 or 5 times a week
 
Plenty of adults are pushing those kinda numbers too: NEETs, cryptobros and people who work from home in jobs where they can get away with doing just a couple of hours work a day.

When someone works from home an hour or more is saved from just not having to drive/bus/cycle etc to Work & Back
Over another hour saved not needing lunch & dinner breaks as you're already at home anyway.
Another hour saved by not needing to shower/bath before & after work plus the time saved from not having to get changed in & out of work clothes
More time saved by you can do things like put the washing machine on and then put the clothes in the dryer after the washing machine finished instead of wasting an evening waiting for the machines to finish

23 hours. 13 on God of War, 10 on Arc Raiders :o
I was a Gamepass subscriber up until October though. Have now ditched GP / live so will be only gaming on PS5 for the foreseeable although there isn't a lot on the horizon to get excited about once I'm bored of Arc Raiders. Killing time until GTA shows up.
 
I really could do with buying a second PS5 pro for using on the living room TV but the deals on them have finished now :(

What the chances of the same Pro deals happening again in the January sales ?

Anyone one ordered any hardware from PSdirect this week? I have ordered the VR2 and charging dock and the order still saying processing. I chatted online to agent (a real one) this morning and they said it should have been delivered on the 10th (ordered on the 8th). Currently have case number and was told they will bring the issue to the courier within 1-2 days.
Just seems strange as its still processing on my account/orders page
 
Not sure if it just me but most the games seem to PS4 ones

The Dualsense edge gamepad I ordered on Amazon on the 01 Dec still haven’t even been despatch yet.
Great when it says it arriving today :rolleyes:

I know its Christmas, however I have no issues with any other orders from other retailers.
Its not really the delivery status that annoying, but the fact I was told this morning it should have been delivered yesterday but its still processing on the psdirect site. Either the site isnt updating (courier has it and being delayed, I can live with) or its still not been collected by courier. It one of those things in limbo, that annoys me. I should have it now according to Psdirect, but, no. Its just nice to know what is happening or where the order actually is.

They no doubt use a third-party to actually send the order to you. The Sony agent has limited visibility to see anything beyond some estimate automatically entered on to their system.
