Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [13th - 15th December 2025]

They really should use VAR to punish people faking head injuries.

Arsenal look like they are playing a training game. Eze looks poor yet again, other than the Spurs game he's not impressed me at all.

The way this games going, I think Arsenal are hoping one of these 9 million passes will go into the goal.

Not a single shot on target against this Wolves team.

He really shouldn't be taking Gyokeres off. It's criminal how little we create for him. I can't think of a single clear cut opportunity we've created for him recently.

Edit
Case in point with Martinelli there just give the finisher the ball. It's not hard. Glad to see he's not coming off.

Been atrocious since minute 1 then decide to let Wolves attack us for the last 5 mins. 100% on us and beyond embarrassing.

Or he’s just not the guy you hoped he’d be for your style of play? Decent strikers create their own chances, all when and good banging in a million goals where you can just plow through a defence but you’re not getting that chance in PL

Nah, some strikers are like that but a hell of a lot of them are in the right place at the right time consistently to put the ball in the net. That requires teammates to play those passes into them. You can't just take a team that hasn't really played with a striker, play the same way but stick a striker in there. Pep changed the way they played to accommodate Haaland.

Not sure Haaland creates many of his own chances and he's pretty decent

He makes plenty of decent runs in behind yet we rarely even attempt to play him in. The other game, Odegaard who played as a 10, didn't pass to him once the whole game. He isn't the sort to drop deep and get involved that way which we have Merino, Jesus and Havertz to do but if we are not going to adapt to support him what's the point?
