It's your choice whether or not to become desensitized to it and just accept it, becoming use to it.
I refuse to have the mentality of some in the US regarding shootings.
It's unacceptable, I choose not to get use to it.
Well, I don't have time to feel anymore. Not when those with power do nothing, or even accept there may be some issues within certain groups.
I have to be numb to it or I'd be in prison for tweets.

That's very much third-world tribal "logic" - what did the people on the beach have to do with some war the other side of the world? Pretty much nothing as far as anyone else knows save for sharing a religion/ethnicity.
That's not "an eye for an eye" as that refers to retribution towards the person who wronged you.... not someone who merely looks like them or shares some of their characteristics, it's a complete corruption of even that olden day morality and doesn’t work as an explanation.
There isn’t in fact a rational explanation for choosing this course of action - it’s just dumb, some ideologies are deeply flawed and this extremist ideology is especially so.
It's a shame the police didn't put them down at the scene tbh... could've saved Australian taxpayers a seven figure sum at least (in terms of future prison costs, legal costs, later care costs etc..)
I suppose in the warped eyes of those doing these sorts of things it’s a cycle of ‘callous wanton violence for (purported) callous wanton violence’.

There full 10 min video of what went down, whilst the police might be criticised in response considering a police car drives past. Fair play to the police for making them shots when I'm guessing all they had was pistols one clearly got kaputed straight off.
