Great ending, best show of the year for me. Looks like we are going back in time for next two series.

The young actors who were the stars of the show were absolutely brilliant and show what can be done with new blood, good writing and good directing. The finale was action all the way and it was great to see it finish with a BANG! I'm just sad that it's over . . . for now, lets hope it doesn't take 27 years for season 2 - I'll be long gone

Yeah, really enjoyed the series. A few niggles but considering it's a prequel and my expectations were low it really impressed

Episode 7, pennywise's 'daughter' didn't realise it wasn't her dad when he butchered that girl? Then after killing all those people he said he needs to sleep. When she wasn't happy, it p'd him off then she realised, what was that all about?
Episode 8 was the best of the lot in terms of being gruesome but not without shortfalls. What's wrong with the town, they see smoke and don't call the police or panic? The kids try to do everything solo majority of the time. The army not realising this early on? The general deciding to go solo without asking someone to back him? What did he think was gonna happen? Army shoots at kids, they run. They come back again and don't get shot? Why/how did Ritch's ghost come back? No one decides to see where the kids are going? What was the armies' plan in containing this power/evil entity exactly? Again the general was a ****.
Stranger Things season one is better imo.

I don't think they have enough time in an episode to make it 'realistic', plus like any TV show, let alone a horror, there are always going to be discrepancies and questions why. For the most part, it's been a brilliant show. Not sure why you're comparing to Stranger Things though, kids can watch that show.
Just take it for what it is and you’ll enjoy it.
What ‘it’ (lul) is = a slick ghost train.
There is nothing remotely threatening or unsettling in the show if you watch lots of horror, but if you enjoy watching modern TV shows - and your binging habits suggest you do - then it’s good fun.

IT has psychic influence on Adults that keeps the majority of the town apathetic and ignore horrific events.
It's why nobody tried to stop the boys in that earlier episode, when Wills mom was outraged.

Read some comments saying it's better than stranger things
I didn't know they competed with each other tbh. But in terms of enjoyment, I've much preferred this show to Stranger Things.
What's the other top 2?

Ill give it watch once I have some time off.
maybe because like stranger things it's about children going on an adventure both with horror elements.
seems like a fair comparison to me, IT is just a bit more mature and didn;t stretch a plot out over 10 real world years.
