IT: Welcome to Derry

[the shadow]

It will follow the events in the 1960s, the time leading up to the events of the first film in the Stephen King It series.

Was expecting Norn Iron accents, disappoint

[Bug One]

Damn. Thought this was going to be the sitcom / horror mashup nobody expected.

Yup, was expecting some Stroke Town action.

[Kyo]

Is its Bill Skarsgård again?

[Thekwango]

Yup, was expecting some Stroke Town action.

Wonder will they have to rename it Derry/Londonderry for release here

[baritonejohann]

oooh i am a fan of the franchise, hope this is good!

[brendy]

IT: Welcome to Stroke City (iykyk).

[ThePainBarrier]

I came in expecting an IT: Crowd spin off

[hudson86]

Looks ok and I'll certainly watch it, but it looks like a straight up remake of IT with the kids minus 27 years, would have hoped for a bit more variation.

[Glanza]

Looks good for a TV show and glad they got Bill back.

[rids57]

Looks good, Pennywise is a bit of a naughty boy

[freddie64]

Looks good and will watch it. (pun intended)

Agree with hudson86, does look the same as the movie, just in a different time period.

Think a origin series or movie would be better though.

Derry Girls join Reynholm Industries.

Fatherrrrrrrr!

[TonTom]

One to watch for me. I’m avoiding trailers as to not spoil it.

[aardvark]

well, it crashed on earth in a meteor storm millions of years ago, so i'm not sure an origin story would be paricularly interesting.

[ethan]

Looks really creepy

This will either be spot on, or a wasted opportunity/license, I'm hoping it turns out great.

[SimonRigga]

Fingers crossed for this.. Love me a bit of Stephen King book / story..
