20mHH with any degree of breathability is never going to be cheap. Most "waterproof" fabrics that aren't outright plastic sweat-box barriers only come in around 2-5m at best. The higher end ones usually sit around 10m.
But saying that, compared to competitors, ThruDark are still insanely expensive!!!

Yer mate, know what you mean, I would have gotten it in Black Friday but the colour I wanted wasnt in stock, annoying, everyone seems to rate their gear though.

Can't go wrong with helikon. Ive recommended them in the past. I'm likely to buy the Yukon jacket they do soon.

For the money, they are rather good.
The clothing is not especially advanced and tends to follow others in terms of fabric technology, but they do it at a much more palatable price.
Where they really shine is in their load bearing kit, putting out about 85% the level of innovation that Maxpedition do, but at a fraction of Maxpedition prices!

Some of it does seem very good, but I'm put off by the fashion aspect. They seem to be straddling the lines between building site workwear, sports kit, outdoor technical fabrics, and tactical forces kit, all while looking rather high-street cool... The fact that no actual tactical units are known to use their kit is another dissuading factor, whereas the likes of Crye, UF Pro, Arc'teryx and Carinthia are in wide use across various nations' military, police and security forces, as well as private contractors.
