I think it's the maps being mostly city based, they all suck IMO. I miss the old jungle based maps, mountains, seascapes, snowy landscapes. BF4 and BF1 had some brilliant maps.

1000 % agree , I prefer all the 2140 maps not a map expert but they are more exciting by a huge margin !

Theres been another update today, not sure what its fixed, yet, hopefully some of the errors introduced by last weeks update.

The Hotfix (Update 1.1.3.1) for Battlefield 6 is now live on Steam, aimed at resolving the following issues as indicated within our recent Community Update:

- Micro Stuttering taking place at set intervals.
- Firing Range inconsistencies.
- Main Menu displaying unintended tiles when scrolling.

Not sure what they are doing with the balance changes in breakthrough; I've always felt the defending role was less fun anyway, but its miserable now with the amount of Armour the attackers get.

On other modes you can mine a bit more effectively and get around the back and attack weak points but breakthough makes it a lot more head on.

I can just see everyone leaving the server if put on defence.

Just had 5 games of conquest, infuriating...not because of hit reg or anything like that, it was because of the players on my team lol swear all 5 games my team were full of cod players that have just come over to battlefield.

Got hammered all 5 games easily as well, i suck at the game but was in top 5 somehow every game on my team even though i played awful today, PLEASE go back to cod lol

It's infuriating isn't it?!

Was on a game last week where there were 12 snipers on my team just camped out on a ridge in the conquest Firestorm map. There was only my squad and 1 other squad attempting to capture points.

I gave up in the end and just started smoking all our snipers out of frustration. It did make them stop camping though!

There should be a limit on sniper rifles/recon per team really.
 
To add to others getting bored or fatigued now im getting to that point too.
Ive filtered out so many bad maps that i only have 5 left in my matchmaking rotation for conquest and escalation and one of them could go too but im more leaving it there as i just cant do 4 maps only.

I have well over 200 hours in the game now, love it in many ways but the maps in particular just like most BF games since BF3 and BF4 are just poor by design.
No amount of S-tier gunplay and gameplay can fix that core aspect to any multiplayer fps game.

Next up would be the sniper sweet spot making so many play as sniper that 90% of games are just stupid with 50% + of the players sniping.
When they announced the sweet spot mechanic coming over from BF1 i knew it was going to be trouble ahead.
To make it worse they also added an auto find range keybind when you equip a range finder.
Sniping used to be an art back before BF1 [BFV was decent sniping to be fair with no sweet spot BS]
Im an ould lad now and even i dont need these silly mechanics.

So poor maps,BS sweet spot sniping destroying the flow of gameplay and at times it can be hard to spot enemies are my main reasons for getting bored.

Ofcourse with 200+ hours i got my moneys worth but a BF game always was a longterm thing for me that i keep coming back to time and time again for years so heres hoping the redo some of the great maps from BF3 in particular and some from BF4 and BC2.
