Stop being such a vocal racist :P

But your name is 'The Voice' so I suppose it makes sense haha!
Haha, TBH I just have a slight axe to grind with that trilogy of TRsl as much as I enjoyed the gameplay and exploration the voice acting, dialogue and writing was never especially good (and sometimes downright bad) especially in the context of the Uncharted series being around at the same time. It felt like they had the potential to be really good and show a younger Lara in a more vulnerable, interesting way and while there were hints of that throughout, it never quite got there. I'm pleased they seem to be starting fresh with new cast and writers and going back to the sort of style the originals had.

Ha ;)
I really liked them TBH, the 2nd was the weakest for me, but each time I replay them (I always replay all 3 in a row) the second one does get better each time.
UC is definitely far better. I absolutely adore it, and you really care about the characters. Especially when that bombshell is dropped in 4 about Nate lying to her and she catches him out... That hit's hard that scene.
You feel the love between their romance too, and the pace is so good in all 5 games.
I would absolutely love a remake trilogy of 1-3 using 4's engine. We can only hope.

I loved the reboot, they were fun and great games to go back and 100%, I was OK with the reimagining her as kind of the survivor of a trial by fire. But agree with others that it's a different spin on the original TR which was an aristocratic woman doing it for the thrill. I'd be happy with them returning to more of the original Lara. I just noticed the other day that the Eve voice on the Grok app is moddled after a kind of oxford educated breathy female upper class voice, and it comes across very strongly as Eva Greens vesper from Casino Royale. I'd love to hear her voice Lara in that similar accent. If you have Grok, switch to voice, select the Eve voice and get it to read vespers lines from Casino Royale ¬_¬

But either way, I'm a simple man. More Lara = More good. Every time they take her down 2 bra sizes = Less good.

That makes total sense to me TBH, and I agree with everything that you have said :)

I like both renditions of Lara, and will take either portrail of her.

Ha, I rewatched CR the other night, EG is extremely attractive in every sense of the word in that film, and yes her accent/voice/mannerisms in CR, would work perfectly with Lara.

Yup, stop making her smaller :P ;) :D

I know this, but she lives and works in America and has done for years, hence the American twang creeping in. It was especially noticeable in one of the DLCs, to me at least.
Also went to high school for a year there, and then University. It definitely creeps in.

I also know/knew a dutch guy who mostly learnt English from Cartoon Network, he did kinda sound like Jonny Bravo at times
