Alex Ferguson was getting good results last time he was in charge, I wonder if anyone has considered asking him to take it on for half a season?
It's slightly odd on the face of it, and we need more than vibes, but it worked very well last time.
I've maintained for a while now that Amorim has been making the team worse, not better. Ole would just need a small improvement and then we might be in contention for the Champions League places.
No guarantees though of course...
As long as we don't make the same mistake twice and give him a permanent contract I have no issue with Ole coming back for the rest of the season.
I think it might just be Poch after the world cup
Well Real Madrid, Bayern, Barca all manage it.What manager worth his salt would want to be a head coach of a team with someone chirping over your shoulder telling you what players you are going to get and not who you want and telling you how to play when things invariably go wrong again.
Are Utd fans basing Poch on his Spurs years? Consistent he was but didn’t delivery trophies and by end Spurs weren’t as good as his first few years either.
Fell out with PSG board and fans didn’t view him as a massive success there, felt he played negative football, surely not what Utd want? Granted he won trophies buts it’s PSG so winning there league isn’t really difficult
Ole had McKenna and Carrick doing the actual coaching. If he doesn’t have at least one of them, colour me concerned.
