Nvidia just announced a lovely bunch of fine wine for all glorious RTX gamers as well as a video for this!

What a time to be alive!

As a Resi fan, I may have to break my £35 limit on this occasion.

Was hoping there would be some decent cashback offer where youbget £5 or £10 back like a year ago around the holidays and was planning on using that, but nada.

Oh well. It is Resident Evil and this one looks good. Not many other games coming out this year that I will buy day 1 anyway. This year looks poor compared to last years releases, for me anyway, so i can catch up with my backlog.

You’ve been saying that for the last decade :p

Lol. You know, at one point I did catch up. But last 3 years or so I have had less gaming time and load of good games came out.

Truth is I will probably never catch up if you include indie games I want to play. But if triple a, I think I can do that in 2026 :D

Think I will be in day 1 on this, recent capcom resident evil games have performed well on release so im hoping this will too.
Looks great.
Didn't Village have issues due too Capcom bundling 2 different DRMs in it, and its own DRM conflicting with Denuvo?

Ahh yes you're right, I remember that now, think it was sorted quite quick tho.
Yeah I believe it was, to be fair as a whole though your right in that the actual RE games have been pretty good, real issue seems to be the open world games using RE Engine (Dragons Dogma 2 and MH Wilds)

Yeh from what I hear the re engine isn't so great at open worlds. Or the developers of them games arnt as great with the engine.

Deluxe Origins bundle for sale 75% off on steam worth it?

I'd say so, both RE1R and 0 are good games if you enjoy old school RE.

The rest of the bundle is just cosmetics, but roughly £4 per game is a good deal imo.

Don't see the problem. I made the choice I want to play day 1. Therefore I have two options, order now and lock in price and cancel it if reviews are bad. Or wait and pay more day 1 on release. Why do the latter? No downsides for pre-ordering from Loaded. As long as you don't claim your key, you can just get a refund.

Honestly, in most instances I'd be more on the fence but I've yet to see a RE game using the current engine that hasn't been really solid perf/quality wise.

They've also kinda nailed the past few games, I wasn't a huge fan of The Village but that's in context of the other games in the franchise and it's certainly not bad. RE4R was a bloody masterpiece as remakes go, and 9 is Racoon city with Leon so there's another huge draw.

...Why am I convincing myself? :p
