The **Now Eating** Thread

...but she wanted a Korma…

Looks very smooth... What did you use for your base gravy recipe?

I followed a fairly basic recipe, minus adding cabbage and then blended generously with a stick blender. (I didn’t even have to sieve the base)

I’ll link the videos for both Base Gravy and Korma which I followed.

On my next day off I’m going to have a play and have a crack at a Pathia, Madras and Masala following his recipes :) Using his Base & Mix Powder of which I made yesterday.

His channel is certainly worth a binge watch session :)

Not been out much since the pandemic and things have changed since then and more so in the last 40 years around here, the better half used to eat in that one which used to be Dig In The Ribs.
But always buzzing around the lanes etc. Keep meaning to get over to Rai's place, maybe when the weather gets a little better as parking can can be had in the Marina. Although I think they have reduced the time to 4 hours now, still free though!
Was wondering where he chefs... Looks quite nice.

Was thinking of a long weekend with parking and was keen to try Etch and the Polish fish place, along with many more.

We are in the middle of finding decent pubs right now in the depths of the countryside and sadly many are just not open as they were before the plague and those that the two party country destroyers have crippled.
