unless you have a specific need for the extra power/ram the base spec one feels like a great starting point for the price! On the initial test run it felt very usable

The most used "USB charger" I use at home is the front USB 2 port I have in the front of my AV receiver, I charge almost everything on it. My AirPods, AA batteries, my phone, my Steam Deck even (but it will take overnight).
You could invest in a faster charger mate. It would make a difference to your charging times. I've checked what all my devices make use of as follows...

Apple Watch Ultra 3 doesn't need anything more than 20W
iPad Mini 7th Generation doesn't need anything more than 20W
iPad Pro 2022 will use up to 35W in a compatible charger
iPhone 14 Pro Max will use up to 30W in a compatible charger
Samsung Galaxy S25 will use up to 25W in a compatible charger
Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro doesn't need anything more than 5W
Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 3 doesn't need anything more than 15W

So I've got three devices which can use more than the 20W the standard Apple USB-C charger is capable of. The iPad Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S25. All the rest can run off the Apple 20W charger.

That said I've got my iPhone 14 Pro Max charging cable plugged into the third USB-C port of my new charger, and two USB-C to USB-C cables plugged into the other two ports for the iPad Pro and Samsung Galaxy S25, and I'll charge my iPad Mini off it as well.

I've got my Apple Watch Ultra 3 charging cable plugged into the Apple 20W USB-C adapter and will swap this with the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 3 charging cable as and when needed.

I have…. I have several (at least 4) 65w GaN chargers and if I really want to, I can use the one for my MacBook Pro which delivers even more power.

But they involve plugging it in. Besides, I’m not in a hurry, slower is generally better as it doesn’t get the battery as hot…yes I know battery tech and software is smart enough to slow it down when it needs to etc but it’s a question of convenience in location of where the receiver is. I really only use one of them to charge my phone, I also have that 22W Apple one for the iPhone. Most of them I bought for travelling.

Single sided red vinyl etched with a combined Rolling Stones logo and Fatboy Slim smiley face. Converted to black and white for clarity.

Will post thoughts in the thread in pc gaming, I played the demo and was mixed bagged about it but I did like it in essence and for £21, why not get the full game I thought.

A new garage door. Oooh exciting…

Continuing on from the front garage door, I have now replaced the wooden side door with a uPVC door and had a ceiling put in. Just needs to dry to be painted and the loft hatch put in. Sparky to put in the lights next week then next month will have a small AC unit installed on the back wall. Plan is to also paint the breeze block white the same as the ceiling and leave the brick unpainted.

you need additional storage, beyond maybe drier, loft space ? still toy with the idea of garage climbing wall using the full gabled height

Yea planning many wall mounted options for shelves and hooks. I did have a shelving rack but the MDF was destroyed by the damp.

Literally just happening to me right now. Thought I had a leak it’s so bad but it’s just lack of ventilation in my garage and MDF being a sponge. My house battery is in there too so it ends up being the perfect temperature for growth.

I’ve six sheets of OSB in there which is still mint the day it was delivered a year ago. When the warm weather comes I’ll ditch the MDF and cut them for the shelves.

Garage looks great btw. I need to get a door installed in ours as currently have to exit via the gate, then use the garage door. Mega faff.
