Motorsport Off Topic Thread

I thought this was a neat visualisation of who among the current drivers has been a teammate of whom:

Folks will get the Australian GP thread up on Monday/Tuesday - Just a heads up though; they might look a little different - its quite time consuming at times to create so I'm going to have a look and see how much I can use AI to produce some of the scheduling, etc; if I can get that to work reliably then I'll likely use that more! Will include all the usual info, etc but just looking to see what I can do !

Yeah just post the thread with the race start times and that's it. I don't read any of the other stuff, I just come in to see what's been posted by others and go from there.
It's actually a really good point, the most important things in the thread are the times, a lot of the other stuff doesn't change, track layout, where to sit, etc.

They don't need to be as detailed as they are @chrismscotland.

Bugger, bookies not taking bets on AM not finishing the race. You can still back that they will though.. poor show.
I checked when I saw this yesterday and Sky weren't taking bets on them finishing or not finishing.

The WEC season opener (scheduled for Qatar on March 28th) has been delayed "indefinitely"; I suspect we're about a week away (if this keeps up) from a similar decision being made for the Bahrain and Saudi F1 races.
Ironically WEC now starts in Imola which is likely top of the list for a replacement F1 race as well.

Bet365 only have 'yes' to be classified still at 4/6 for each driver. I don't see how they're allowed to do that. Take them both out of the market if you know something is up.

Or in other words, you can still throw money at a bookies that keep unrealistic bets, but dont expect to bet on anything likely?

Basically, yeah. Mind you they can do what they like without punishment so it doesn't surprise me.
