Got a message this morning from Facebook saying they had removed a photo I posted in 2024 because it breaches community standards. They cited child sexual exploitation. It made me feel sick to my stomach wondering if my account had been hacked or something. I have no idea what the photo could be as I very rarely post anything on the main site I just use it for the groups ( 3d printing, motor bikes, mountain bikes etc) it's possible I've put a family photo up holiday but even that's unlikely. I messenger a bit though mostly on the marketplace.
I appealed it but it's been upheld.
I did some googling and apparently metas AI does the appeal and is known to dish out bans for this sort of thing without any human interaction at all.
I've been issued a 3 day posting ban on the main site and messenger which is annoying but also surely if I was posting stuff like that it's not severe enough?
Has anyone else come across this?
