Michael

Why would I want to meet that paedo :(
10 years of investigation by the FBI and not one bit of evidence found of foul play. What evidence do you have? he was proven innocent. There is a documentary called Loving Neverland which shows he was a tortured soul. His father was a ****. Michael was a media victim, bullied. He was a child in his own head. Just watch this video and you can see it:

Anyway, the film looks like it's going to be good, and it's good that they got a family member to play him, Jaafar is looking like he's done a great job.

Huge Jackson fan but for some reason I have zero interest in these type of movies.

I'd much rather a documentary on him and Quincy or something

I've watched EVERY documentary made about him so pointless me watching it again.
I am a fan and I have everything he's ever made.
He's a paedo, he sleeps with little kids, that's not normal, I have to wonder what is going through your mind if you think that's OK.
The trial you are on about he was innocent but two of the Jury said after the trial he was innocent in that case but positive he has done something.
I'll watch the film and I'll still listen to his music be he was a bad un.
I just hope there isn't a load of made up stuff like there was in Bohemian Rhapsody because I know a lot about his early life.

Looks like a by the numbers bio with some music chucked in. Not hugely interesting, but probably watchable.

I saw a trailer for this at the cinema and having just a taste of the music loud and well mixed made this a deffo must see for me at the cinema, booked in already :)

Can you please post at least a few lines to either summarise or your own comments rather than just posting a link.

and what's really bad is they are all comments from critics with big words.
Reviews like that make me want to puke.

But the movie itself is uncomfortably problematic in a way that’s hard to overlook.

"Michael" goes down as easily as the soft drink Jackson was pushing. It's smooth. It's bubbly. It's tasty. But it's a concoction of ultimately empty calories, albeit one that comes with striking performances and an absolutely killer soundtrack.

Backed by the kind of production budget normally reserved for resurrected dinosaurs running amok in a theme park, this long-gestating biopic of Michael Jackson offers two solid hours of cosplay karaoke.

and endless other crap.

I was hearing recently that a huge portion had to be reshot, according to this article, it was the whole third act.

According to the publication, this change to the film’s narrative reportedly occurred after attorneys for the Jackson estate located a clause in a settlement with Jordan Chandler, one of Jackson's accusers in 1993, that said he could not be depicted or mentioned in any film.
