Hey,

i've currently got the Ryzen 5 3600 processor paired with the RTX3060 10GB GPU (Recent upgrade).

I do game and stream from time to time and notice when streaming the processor is running at 90%+ and my streaming software is giving me a warning.

Can anyone recommend a decent processor upgrade (don't mind second owner) please?

The X3D models seem to be quite expensive currently. Thinking around £150 second user (AM4 platform).

5500X3D worth a shout too, no good deals on at the moment but can be had for £140 quite regularly. Stronger in gaming than 5800X but for multicore would be slower.
Where have ya seen x3d for that, cheapest ive ever seen them is 250 on auction sites they are 300-400 which is crazy

If you stream and want to stay on the am5 platform 5950x but they will cost you 250

AM4

OP - I did this some time ago picking up a 5800X while its not the grail, it was a nice bump. The extra cores help multi workloads but I found the power efficiency was actually decent. If you can get a 3D for a sensible price do it, but the 5800x for sub 100 is also good.

Will have a look :)

It's the tiktok live software.

Apparently the stream is actually smooth it's just stuttering my end on the previes and saying CPU load is very high.

I got a 7700 for a good price, compared to the UK. Doesn't seem great for X3D now (also wouldn't risk one in my asrock anyway)
Cpus and mobos ain't the problem with am5 its the ddr5 its crazy expensive hence people wanting to stay on am4, even amd are releasing new am4 cpus soon which is crazy
