Yeah it's a bit pants, means I'm only allowed to ride in the morning :(

(I think it's to do with me getting my original car licence and moped licences in Holland, hence the EU at the beginning)
I will refer from calling you a homosexual slur. I'm sure @JonRGV250 will be here any minute to address that. :D

You got a full A now? My mate transferred his full EU A licence without much ado.

Yeah got it back in 2023. Would be a bit awkward to ride 1100cc bikes on an AM licence :D

So you did a few mistakes enough for a fail including major faultt. Thought the slow emergency stop was just the only one

Weird ride today reactions felt slow..like I had a couple of pints of beer (but didn't drink anything) only short ride. Maybe fatigue or lack of sleep or something?

Don't ride impaired. Seriously. The cost can be your life.

I was nearly taken out twice on the M3 today. The first, a Berlingo, casually drifting over to my lane right in front of me. The second was seriously dangerous driving with a long wheelbase van speeding past me and cutting me up as he veered left when realising he nearly missed his exit. If I hadn't braked fairly hard at 70mph then he would have hit me. I really need a camera on the helmet as I would ave loved to report him.

If I'm feeling off I won't get on the bike. For example last week I was really not feeling well but had already promised to meet someone on the bike. So I cancelled it. But after my big off in 2022 I'm quite risk averse now; wear the best gear I can afford, ride very defensively and skip it if I'm not feeling right.

Nah, nerves innit. Once you make the first oopsie it's pretty much done as you overanalyze every move you make and it takes your focus off the road.

I have rinsed the Pinlock and dried it over the day(20 odd hours). Loosened the adjustment pins slightly. Will know the outcome next time I ride. :)

And yes, removed the chin pad/dust pad or whatever that's called to improve ventilation further.

You don't need to go for a ride to give it some preliminary testing. Put it on your head and exhale deeply onto the visor. Your breath should have very little effect!

Ordered a set of tyres for the BlackBird, Pirelli, asked on a facebook group if the price was decent for the set, figured someone else might like a set since the price was good.

Comments range from "Ditchfinders, will almost certainly kill you instantly" to "I have them on my bike, best tyres ever", and pretty much everything inbetween :D

Been a while since I’ve bought a bike now, was going to post on Friday but I went and test rode an R1M and what a machine.. the sound is unlike anything I’ve heard before!

 Angels or something silly? Tyres seem almost as polarising as asking about whether it's still a poached egg if you use one of those silicon moulds. Two very dangerous topics!

On that note, I'm thinking of trying the Continental Road Attack. Never entered my mind before, after years of Michelin and Metzler. But the Road 6 felt vague at the edge and Metzler I don't want at the moment, so think I'll try the Road Attack 4 or whatever number it is.

And vinegar in the pan.

I went for Pirelli Diablo High Performance... Which are (I hope) almost certainly better than the 13 year old ones that came on the bike :D

And vinegar in the pan.

The only proper way!
