Yeah, see the link, apart from the big cities and York the rest are 1.90:1Oh really? Do you mean within the UK?
On a separate note, that list shows other countries, which I totally forgot about. America has quite a few true 70mm cinemas.
Fans of the original text, fans of Chris Nolan’s, fans of modern cinema, fans who can appreciate the technicalities of great filmmaking, fans of Matt Damon, fans of Anne Hathaway, fans of Tom Holland, fans of the rest of the cast, fans of Ludwig Gorransson, fans that just like a good night out and something to watch at the cinema, fans of the IMAX experience, fans of real analogue film..The usual suspects will love this film.
8am?! Very early for a screening!Seeing in 70mm at printworks at 8am on Friday release day.
I didn't get to experience thisInterstellar in IMAX was incredible. Hopefully this one offers a similar experience.

i'll watch it but i don't have particularly high hopes - quite a few of nolans films are apparently 'masterpieces' that i think are crap
I have read the original text several times, though its not really my go to from the time, I'm a much bigger fan of the writings of Aristophanes who epitomises the statement that good humour stands the test of time. Some of the comedy in his writings is still funny 2 millenia laterI'm going to say 99% of people arguing about how far it does/doesn't stray from the original text have never even read the full poem and don't even realise it's just a translation of what was basically meant to be spoken aloud.
Reviews will sway me on whether to bother watching it or not. I do like Nolan (mostly) but the trailer didn't do much for me.

They're showing this at the science museum? That is epic.
What's the overall cinema experience like when comparing between BFI and Science Museum?Yep the science museum in London can show films in full IMAX 70mm, I saw Interstellar there too on one of the fairly regular re-runs they do
Screenings there or at the BFI in London are pretty much the best you’ll get within the UK for the films that support it
