This will save me a bit over my current Apple Care set up.

You can cover 3 devices for £16.99, add additional devices for £4.99 per device after this, but you can switch devices In and out of the 3 device limit.

Plus it adds theft and loss protection to the watch and iPad.

Hmm, that looks interesting. If I went ahead and bought the iPhone 18 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 that would work out well. My AirPods are already covered.

I don't often go for insurance products like this but getting the three family iPhones covered would be handy. Might persuade me to get rid of my screen protector!

Careful, are the devices registered to you?

Can I add my family’s devices to my AppleCare One plan?

AppleCare One plans can cover devices that are on the same Apple Account as the subscriber.

I take that as a no then. I thought about doing this with my other half's iphone and my son's ipad but they aren't on my account.

Good point. I’ll need to look into this further. I have an Apple One account already so I was assuming AppleCare One could be applied to family devices on the Apple One account. Apple have made this confusing now!

Excellent news. This will save me a couple of quid each month and give my watch theft and loss protection to boot!

Can confirm this is now active. Just combined my iPhone, watch and iPad together.

Just debating whether to add Apple TV for the extra fiver, considering the astronomical price a new one now costs… I’ll sleep on it.

Great...signed up and click to add a device and getting a message "unable to complete your request"....cmon Apple sort yourselves out with the basic stuff.

Wasn’t supposed to go live till today, I’ve just added my devices to it no problem.

This is interesting. My macbook has a year and a half left and iPhone is covered by my bank (although this doesn't cover manufacturing defects). Apple watch and iPad are probably too old to cover. Looks like a good deal although probably not worth it for me.

It says I have no devices that I can cover. Is this because they already have AppleCare+?

No, I've thought it to mean they are more than four years old (for some equipment - AirPods don't seem to be allowed if they are more than two?) Devices with AppleCare+ are the ideal candidates as you don't have to mess about photographing them, etc.

Are you doing it from the devices themselves or the web?

Do it from the settings menu of your phone if you aren’t already, in settings > General > Apple Care.

I added my iPhone 17 pro, iPad Pro M4 and Apple Watch Ultra 3 to my plan without issue, they all had Apple Care+ on them previously and those plans were atomically cancelled and I’ll get a prorated refund in the next few days I imagine.
