I'm sorry. I don't remember….. For you, the day that movie graced your TV was the worst day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.

Kylie Minogue playing Cammy promised much but was the biggest damp squib ever. Since when does Cammy wear trousers full time.
For me the original represented an amazing period in my life; having a TV in my room (albeit a terrible one more at home in 1970’s caravan than early 90’s kids room) and watching 80’s/90’s action schlock. Add in a VHS player later on and you’ve got channel 4 filth, aka Euro Trash, which I genuinely thought what mainland Europe was like because I’d never met anyone from there before.

Ha, can't imagine this being a RT critique hit based off the trailers and genre.
I hadn't actively looked for the reviews until just now and the YouTube reactions today and early reviews which are starting to go live; give it an ok mind off popcorn flick to total hot mess train wreck.
The 90s SF film like, many of that era were great for the time and even if cheesy trash, still fit in that period perfectly.
I'm looking forward to it

Nothing can be worse than the original but then for me, it was Tuesday..
I've got the ticket book for Saturday, also do remember that the original 90's street fighter movie was good & bad but head of it time. that actor who play bison, only did it as his children were big fans and wanted to leave something for them to remember him, as he was dying and mustard what little strength he had left to complete the movie, while other actors in it were doing lines of white stuff.

It's not a very good movie. Thought it was great
Certainly could have been better but I enjoyed the characters and the unexpected comedic standouts being Dan and Guile.

Just back from the cinema and exactly what @Richeh said. Its not the best movie in the world and there is a tonne of things they could have done better but i thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of nods to the game and lore. Very silly in parts and pretty stupid but i still laughed. If your a fan of the game then definitely go for it. Yes its better than Van Damme and Kylie but thats hardly a high bar lol.
Surprised Justin Wong made an appearance!
