Seems that way, problem is Ai is replacing programmers, so these bug fixes are being rolled out that arent written by people or tested properly, Microsoft would probably get on a lot better if they asked Ai to create a patch, and then asked it to check its work rather than just going with its first answer...
 
Back when I was at university we studied formal logic and formally proving code. This was immensely hard and tedious for any non-trivial code but ISTM that AI would be able to do this with ease.
 
rebooted my work Windows 11 PC, and now my wallpaper slideshow doesn't work, and I'm stuck with a plain coloured background.

Even manually setting a single picture doesn't work (the drop down changes back to solid colour)

Honestly no idea what's wrong with this rubbish

I had this too yesterday. A reboot resolved it for me. Agreed, there are some issues for sure.
 
Keep on getting the pop up telling me to switch anti virus on, go to look and it's all on, something in the back of my head tells me it was something to do with an update ? any suggestions?

Same problem here, it's caused by a broken update so just ignore the warning and wait for them to fix it.

Same, my Plex server and my gaming desktop both do this. Was mentioned on the previous page.

Just got to wait for Microsoft to fix it....

I had a couple of Windows Security updates yesterday morning and then another update last night.

The last update came through Windows Security not Windows Update.

Not had the warning since, so hopefully fixed now.

After spending a load of time trying to fix this yesterday and getting nowhere (and also my lock screen wallpaper had disappeared).

Came into work this morning - lock screen had a picture on it. Went to set my desktop background back, and it worked :confused: :confused: :confused:

These are the updates i received.

The update from Windows Security is not showing and not sure if this is the one that actually fixed the issue, or a combination of all three.
After the rebooting from the first two i still got the warning, but after the third it has been fine.

Restarted laptop after installing some updates, driver updates stuck on 99% complete for about 45mins now. Why does windows updates suck so bad?
Should I leave it longer, before I try a force restart.

Maybe it’s doing something in the background but it’s so lame that it doesn’t give any indication other than 99% complete. MS windows biggest operating system since way back, and still sucks at simple things.
