City 115 Charges - Guilty!

With regards to Newcastle. Saudi have been at this game a little longer than the UAE. I think diplomatically they understand their place in the world whereas UAE has this we can do whatever we want attitude. Saudi-UK relationship goes back 100 years and a little club (in the grand scheme of things) is not worth getting into trouble over.

We lose our 'stars' every summer, but we operate in a model that has their replacements lined up (or recruited) before an offer even comes in.

We only came up to the PL in 2017, so it kinda shows you don't need excessive money if you're run well, it just helps.
What Brighton are doing is incredible, and unlikely to be matched elsewhere. So I guess the acid test is whether you are able to go that step further and start to achieve regular success (finals, trophies, top 4 league positions).

I think that will be a step too far, but time will tell.

I just bought three tickets for City Vs Brighton in the cup at the Etihad for a grand total of £22 and it's not selling out. How much were their sponsorships again?

20,000 empty seats at the mid-week champs league game.
you dont understand its because they have 5 home games in the space of 3 odd weeks so the locals have to pick and choose which game to pay for, they dont have as many 'tourists' willing to pay for tickets and that's why there are empty seats. It's the locals that have enabled them to have revenues exceeding every single other team in the world, all makes perfect sense when you think about it.

Hopefully they look into 2018-present as that will be interesting. Especially how Puma can afford to give such a big sponsorship deal when their company is not doing that great.
We all know their Man City's sponsorship deals post 2018 are just as dodgy, but Puma have been spending heavily on marketing for ages, i believe they gave Neymar the biggest ever boot deal back in 2020. it was only really last year they started to suffer financially

It is crazy the excuses the media come out with in support of City.

You have to admire the ability of everyone at City to carry on, business as usual with the guillotine starting to wobble.

Meanwhile their stench cloud is stinking out this years league - which currently they look like "winning".

Even once the punishment is known, no doubt they will then appeal that - and on and on etc

And yet that game will be reported as a sell out depute the empty seats.

Tell me why they are/planning stadium expansion? Was it build it and they (still won’t) come?
