Wolverine ps5 sabretooth boss help

Hi

I'm playing wolverine and enjoying it though I'm stuck on the phase 3 sabretooth boss and cant get past it.

How do I turn off his shield? What techniques should I use? What buttons on controller do I use.

I've been fighting him for around 10 - 15 mins getting no were!

Did you manage to beat him? The boss fights in that game were a bit annoying, padded out with shield like mechanics.
