Hello

My son finished his GCSEs next summer, he's also off to the USA with Scouts but before he heads there I thought the two of us might go to Sevilla in Spain. Anyone been there and have any recommendations on what to do, see and accommodation. We both like our history and like to site see but otherwise pretty open to any thoughts.

Thanks

Wonderful city, I'll find my starred places from Google Maps and update this post. Whilst it offers lots of culture and history, being the big kid I am - if your son likes water parks, they have a good one there :D (Isla Magica).

Thank you so much, take appreciated. He loves and is hoping to take his life guarding qualification in the spring so a water park would be right up his street

A must then! Especially as it can easily reach 40C in summer :).
Yeah the OP is unclear. Are you planning on going in summer? Because I wouldn't. Seville is famously unbearably hot in the summer. I believe it sits in a valley so has it's own microclimate to some extent. We've been in February for example and it was Tshirt weather during the day, so I can't imagine how hot it would feel in the height of summer.

It's the sort of place to go and find nice restaurants bars to hang out in, and enjoy the Spanish way of life. There's a few cool sights to see but it's really about the culture.
