That's right, bough her a £2,000 ring, proposing on Christmas day

if its true then thats great.

first thing she asks "how much is it worth"

ha ha ha
In fairness, this was her side of the conversation:

"A ring?!"
"What... what sort of ring?"
"Like, what... whats it like?"
"Yeah I am!" [In response to "Are you his girlfriend?"]
"What sort of... is it an engagement ring?"
"What?!"
"How much is it worth?"

Even then the presenter fails to tell her how much it is worth, and she is sidetracked once he confirms that it is infact an engagement ring. She asks for a description of the ring once again, and only then does the presenter string off a description of the ring, along with the price, to which she proclaims "I'm so excited!" and doesn't elaborate on the price at all. Besides, asking how much the ring is worth is far from unreasonable given the circumstances.

Thats not to say I think she is in the right, although I am rather undecided about whether she deserved the public humiliation she received. Without information about the state of their relationship prior to the event I don't think it right to pass judgement on her character from the phone call and hearsay description of the isolated incident alone. Taking matters at face value and throwing morals out the window, pure class. Excellent. Fantastic. Hilarious.

I agree Al.

Look at it from her point of view. What will the price tell her? It will tell her if it is a christmas present or an engagement ring.

Even if Christmas wasn't coming up it would make no difference - pretty much EVERY woman who gets engaged wants to know this. They want to know the cost. Even if they have to wait weeks before finding out THEY WANT TO KNOW. You can even go on about how special your fiance or wife is and that they never asked the price, but trust me they know how much it cost.

Every engaged woman I have known has known how much their rings cost. It's a woman thing.

Absolutely brilliant idea of the radio :) well done to the man who got cheated on, and well done to the radio presenter :p Absolutely the best way to deal with the cheater :D

rofl!

that had me in stitches, and all my mates, lol.

kinda felt sorry for her in a way, but tbh after 4 years you'd of thought she could have learnt some self control. The fact she still intended to marry him and have babies, without even telling him! If i caught and swords of meat variety in my girlfriends mouth, and im 17 (going on 1 and a half years together), or in any orifises, i'd show her the door, and the sole of my shoe! were going strong tho! lol

hope that guy has a good holiday, and that woman is ashamed.Theres no excuse for cheating on anybody, ever. if you talk to the other person, you can sort it or come to a mutual agreement, as opposed to hand out oral pleasures.

There must be someone on these forums who knows these people. Apparently everyone is only 5 or 6 relationship-links away from everyone else in the UK, so there MUST be someone here who can find out what the script is. I'll feel dead guilty if she's topped herself though :o

That's hilarious.

BUT, I can't help but think.. what if she didn't cheat on him?????

If she wasn't guilty, I think she'd have been going off on the radio guy a little more than she was...... ;)
