Using Sky remote with Samsung LE26R87BDX26

I have the old type Sky box the non + version, I have been trying to program the remote using codes found for the Samsung without any luck.

Does anyone know if it's possible to use the old sky remote with the Samsung?

The code table code is 0060 for Samsung I think but these TV's require the 5-8th code in the table off of the top of my head.

What version is your remote? You may need to buy a new one.

I been through all the listed codes, as for the revision number of the remote I don't have a clue.

Have you looked under the battery cover? I think the revision is written there.

I don't know the actual one for the LE26R87

It doesn't say the revision number... just some random numbers which I will Google when I get home tonight.

Cheers for the Samsung codes... I will try the 4 digit ones tonight as well

I own the R88, but I believe the differences between them are minimal... With the rev 4 Sky remote, the code 0646 works fine for me.
