Don't know if anyone has mentioned this but you can get AA to work in the demo.
Tell us how!!

I just came into this thread to whine about how it's not OK to have games that don't support AA ... :p

Im with you, well, i was, but im fairly sure BioShock doesnt have AA.. and ive been playing it all evening and i havnt paid any attention to jaggies.. none have stuck out like i have seen them in other titles.

I read of people using nhancer and setting it to rainbow six compatibility and then setting AA and AF. I tried it and it appears to work. Well, it could be placebo but I doubt it as I got a big frame rate hit with 4x AA. (vsync on so it's normally capped at 60FPS and doesn't move unless I rapid press the fraps screenshot button... with AA set in nhancer, I've had it dip into the 40's.)

What do you guys think, can you tell a difference? (1680x1050 screens)

these three are with 8x AA. Frame rates drop to the 20's. Two of them are just showing angles that are normally jaggy.

Well i've just give it ago and i'm 50/50 on weather i'll purchase it.
Run's well on high settings, just think the gameplay could do with beefing up a touch.
Nice attempt though!

Thanks to peep for telling me about cooking the nads, I killed myself the 1st time :( lol, then I learned to listen for the tick sound getting faster and I was making nads explode above heads of eye ties behind sandbags etc. :D

I've just played this game, really like it, unfortunatly this is bad for my wallet.

Was totally smooth at 1280x1024, all maxed, 16xAF, 0xAA (How do I get AA to work?)
Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
42661, 513986, 29, 127, 83.000

There are a lot of ini settings around so it's probably possible to add quite a bit more realism. You can edit the fall damage threshold and multiplier etc. which I might do. As it is you can survive leg-breaking falls without even a scratch. I can understand why that's there. Parachuting in to find yourself stuck on a roof would be a bit annoying, but there seems to be a way down everywhere and it's your own fault if you do :D

Might be able to turn off health regen and health packs too. Dunno. As it's unreal engine I'm guessing it will be very moddable anyway(?)

I'm playing with the compass off as well which makes the game better IMO.
