rebuilt forums

The main purpose of this upgrade was to improve performance. A lot of other behind the scenes changes have been made too.
Yes indeed and performance have been improved greatly! You can't have a *slow* website for overclockers.co.uk after all :)

I also notice the icon has gone for overclockers when u add it to your faves (lost branding there!).

Mmmmm, no more screen space wasted! \o/:cool:

I can live with the emboldened threads. :)

Just one cosmetic fault: When replying to a thread, the title Smilies above the smilies, to the right of the text box, is white. You can barely make out the word "smilies".

In all due respect, changing styles live on a production forum is a bit silly.

At least test them offline or close the forums to do it.

Whatver has just been changed, turn it off! my eyes!

EDIT: Ahh, thank god for that!

OK. Mind if I close the forums all day today, just to make sure it's absolutely perfect for you?

I'll sort the bold issue ... when I can find it.

Aside from the bold issue it looks pretty spangly to be honest, and runs like excrement off of a particularly large digging implement.

If you feel that you need to close the forums and modify the style on a production forum then fine :) You could just backup the forum and bring it back somewhere else to test a style change.

If you need help with that, feel free to shout.

Or. I could just forget the whole idea and go enjoy the sunshine

Come on, it's just a forum, not a mission critical application.
At worst messing about with the settings will mean some people on the internet won't be able to post for a little while.
