Just wanted pushing in the right direction for a new rig.

I've always been an nvidea \ Intel fan, but now not sure if to change alegences.

The P35 motherboards look good, but am I right in thinking that going down this road, I'm better off with a ATI Graphics Card, as these boards no longer support SLI?

Or should I stay with a 680I chipset, where I can still dream of one day having Sli'd 8800 Ultras? (I wish!)

Whichever way, I'll probably be getting a Q6600 CPU.

Think I read the X38 chip set may get the SLI blessing, it has two full speed PCIE 2.0 slots....might be a better choice for next gen nvidia cards

I agree, SLI is really castles in the sky which makes me wonder why they are so agaimnst the idea, seeing as AMD have jumped into bed with ATI.

quite annoying actually, I wish AMD would have gone after Nvidia instead.

or at least made a "gentlemens agreement" now thet would be a match made in heaven.
