Needing to build a new 'pooter

It's going to being mostly rubbish stuff like excel, word processing and operating a vinyl cutter but it's also going to be used for doing photoshop and Illustrator work so it needs to be pretty decent.

I was thinking along the lines of:

Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600
2x2gb memory to start of with but looking to go up to 4x2gb at a later date.

So what stuff should i be looking at? Especially in the area of graphics cards.

Nothing too extreme. I already have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, dvd-rw and i dont want any speakers.

I know you don't want anything extreme but it will be easily to make up a spec with a budget in mind even if its a rough estimate of how much your looking to spend.

no. no 32os will support more than 3.5gb ram
