Football **SPOILERS** 25th/26th August

No idea, like i said i don't recall where i heard it but i just got that in my head.

What I'm saying is I don't deny home advantage, but I don't see the states being overly different for Ashburton, Anfield or Stamford Bridge.

Did you read my entire post? I clearly said that my comment wasn't aimed just at Utd but at all the top sides in.

Sorry, think my lack of FF points and my 360 dying yesterday has all been a bit much this weekend. I stand corrected ;)

I didn't want to comment earlier, but after watching the replays, for me, neither are penalties.

Berbatov runs into Vidic who is looking at the ball, and the ball hits Wes' chest.

Just watched the highlights of Utd.

Very good game. Spurs made it hard for us, they gave it thier all.

Again we had chances to score a couple of goals but it took a wonder strike from Nani :D

About the penatly appeal, I am a Utd fan but I dont think that it was a penatly at all. Looks to me that it hits Brown's side.

Another tough game next away to Everton. Lets hope we have a repeat of last years fixture but without gonig 2 behind and nearly giving me a heartattack :p

We were terrible today, all I can say is that it's a good job Spurs aren't very good otherwise we'd have had a right wolloping from a better side. WAY too many defensive errors all across the back 4, Carrick and Scholes can't pass, Giggs can't play, Tevez looks like he's learning the game, Nani makes too many wrong choices (although that's expected). Hargreaves played well though.

Why did none of them say it did then?

Even ****ing Lee Dixon a Man City supporting Gooner said it hit his chest

From where I was stood, it was stonewall. From looking at the replays now I am home, I am still convinced it was a pen. Even the utd fans in the stand next to me had their hands on their heads until Webb pointed for a corner.

Look at Browns face at the time of the incident, says it all IMO :)

The angle from behind the goal makes it seem like its hit his arm and if you go by Berbatov and Bale's reaction its a stonewaller, both have appealed instantly (not a delayed reaction) though there is no way the ref could have given it as he's looking side on (the wrong side) at Brown, the lino had a good view though.

Well, from seeing what I saw on TV, to me its not a penalty. The front on shot, it really looks like it hits his side.

From the shot behind, its really hard to tell.

Anyway, tomorrow all in the papers, its going to be back on the same old subject of penalties not given at Old Trafford and the ref bottled it.

Well with players near the action, as it happends so fast Ive seen players in the past appeal straight away even that the replay footage shows that the appeal is wrong.

Did'nt really have chance to see where the ref were, but I think it looks like the linesmen has a good view and he does'nt give it.

Its been proven, even in this earlty stage of the season the linesmen have been a bit poor and have to up thier game.

and lino's never make poor decisions.......;)

your only saying that because you worried about your money ;)

I'm not worried about my money, because afterall your money is my money. I'm not worried because I know it's coming at the end of the season. ;)
