I've seen these pretty cheap, just wondered if they were actually any good? Are there any alternatives that could be suggested for within the same price range (~£150-£200)?

You can't go wrong with Garmin.

I got 250W (Widescreen Europe version) which just comes out a couple of months ago. I wanted to get 200W (Widescreen UK & Ireland) but it's not out yet until this September. Garmin units comes with Navteq mapping which is much better for me in whole of Ireland.

TomeTome ONE is agood, ive got one, but now the new XL versions are out, so might be worth getting one of them instead

i've just got the XL version.....got me out of trouble on the way home from chester at the weekend.

got me round a couple of jams.

It's pretty quick at mapping routes and the screen is a great size. They're pretty slim too!
