show desktop shortcut - via a hotkey

Can i show my desktop by using a keyboard shortcut please? I dont have a windows button on my laptop however so Windows+D will not work.

Any others around please?

hmm well heres how I think you can do it (bear with me)

1st make a quick launch with the desktop added to it, then copy that and paste it as a shortcut to the desktop, then right click>properties>shortcut>then add the shortcut keys you want to use e.g alt+d etc...

see if that works?

thats what i use or if im showing off to mates then windows+tab in vista :cool:
