All you phase change guys using lga775?

Seeing as the lga775 socket contains the pins now, Do you still put the insulating goop on the socket or do you just leave it bare?

I don't own phase change, Just wondering how it works now.

i put a bit of dielectric grease in my socket, pcb lacquer on the rear of the board and nail varnish around the socket since I had a custom head on my unit but before that I hadn't used any.

I guess its going to be difficult to clean out the grease in the socket but it needs to be done.

I think a jet wash should get it out
