Midweek Football Fixtures Thread **SPOILERS**

Exactly what I was going to say, Sissoko isn't playing half bad either.

Yeah he's looking very good out there, supprised you haven't score a couple more.

Honestly with a good striker like Drogba, you'd look unbeatable. Very good performance, and this from a Bolton fan, we don't exactly like our Merseyside rivals

Dyer aka sicknote breaks two bones in his leg. Might as well retire that guy.

yeah it was extremely moving just seeing his parents faces.

RIP and I hope they find the scum that did it.

Momo's playing well, crowd taking the mick everytime he gets the ball near their 18yard box lol

Benayoun's on fire tonight. Looks like a very capable replacement for Garcia.

Yea, him and Arbeloa (who keeps getting better and better) are working really well down the right.

Good first half from an attacking point of view though had the finishing been better Crouch and Kuyt could have had 2 more each. Been sloppy with the ball at the back but Momo has looked far more assured on the ball this seasons, must have been working on it over the summer.

@Ripper, Benayoun (well his agent) has already started complaining about the lack of games and said he may look at moving to a mid-table side if it doens't improve so you could be in with a chance for him come January ;)

Benayoun has been a pleasure to watch, bloody brilliant. Sunderland are getting beat so it's a good night! Shame about dyer though, as much as I don't like him. :(

Red Star 0-0 Rangers (agg: 0-1)

This means the Champions league will be tainted by at least one team who have won a bean in over 2 years.

Hopefully UEFA do the decent thing and let the noble Serbian Champions into the competition on humanitarian grounds.
