Hi,

Well, finally got my watercooling setup finished and had a quick play to see what I could squeeze out of it.

Spec:
Supermicro 750-A Case (Big Beige Box!)
Enermax Infiniti 720W PSU
Asus Commando MB (1504 Bios)
E6600 @ 3.80GHz (475 MHz FSB, 8x Multi, 1.6v bios/1.56v Idle/1.512v Orthos)
2 Gb Crucial Ballistix PC8500 (2x1Gb)
Nvidia 8800 GTS 640Mb (645/2000)
D-Tek FuZion cpu waterblock
Danger Den Full cover 8800 GTS waterblock
Laing DDC pump with plexiglass top
XSPC triple 120 radiator (externally mounted, 3x Noctua 1200rpm fans)
XSPC 250mm passive resevoir (horizontally mounted so I can see the cool bubble effects...)
10/8 tubing with plated brass compression fittings all round
Noctua 120mm fan in side of case blowing over the chipset heatpipes, etc.

With an ambient temp in the mid 20's Centigrade I get idle temps of ~33 Deg.C and full load temps of 65 Deg.C (Orthos small FFT stable for 12H 47M)

GPU temps of 53 Deg.C during 3DMark06

SuperPi 1M : 13.578 seconds
3DMark06 : 11137 (4750/4702/3362)

The ram is currently slightly underclocked (950MHz) at the moment and I had the cpu running at 3915MHz but it wasn't orthos stable
(well it was, but only for about 25 seconds!)

I'm happy with the performance, but I'd love to see what the cpu will do maxed out...I don't *really* want to fry the chip (If it happened I'd have to get a Q6600 G0, obviously) but I reckon that 1.56v at idle is high enough already.

I can feel another tweaking session coming on...

Will get some pics when I've finished tweaking (well, that'll be never then !)

No, seriously, I want to see if I can get the memory to run a little faster and do some more stability testing - At the moment I've tested the cpu and the gpu individually - I need to test 'em together to see what it does to the max temps. Maybe Orthos & 3DMark06 at the same time? That should give it something to think about
