Triplex used to make a silver PCB Geforce 4 that came in an aluminium briefcase with a glass window. ah those were the days.

yes those were defo the days the Geforce 4 cards back then had abit of bling to them eveyone was trying to do something different on the ti4200/4400/4600 on the high end. now if your lucky you get abit more clocks and maybe a slightly different cooler how boring , god i miss though purple and gold pcb's Saltek (think it was them) from around the same time (KT400/nforce 1&2 sorta time) coming from a guy who had a bog standard PNY ti4600 (1 on the first batch at a dang good price at the time) .

Bring back the bling bling PCB's

Bah, for the price I paid for my 8800GTX I wanted it to come in a pure gold box with little pink fluffy tassles on.

But hey, the performance makes up for that :p

He hasnt bought 2 1950 pro's. TWO = this week only hence the upper case 's. not my sons two 1950pros came today.

And his a only 12 so he cant afford a 8800gts at the moment

Your 12 year old son has a better graphics card than me, I hope you're happy!:p

Now there's motivation to get some work if ever there was any.

Why would you put the abbreviation "TWO" in your title to mean this week only and then ask a question about crossfire but not mean you have "two" graphics cards!

Geeze that just seems like a sure way of confusing everyone who reads the topic.

lol lucky 12 year old.

Have to say the title confused me also :( but then i am half asleep this morning.

I remeber the bling cards, also say bring them back, Never had a case with a window back in those days.

Even if he put two in caps and quoted "TWO", I'd have just assumed he was bragging about his new 'crossfire' system.

Acronyms just dont work when there is already a 'normal' word the same, as there is a good chance that anyone not aware of the acronym will simply use the standard word meaning instead.
