OcUK Motors - gaming scene?

If you don't have an HDTV, buy a 19" TFT Monitor for £100-120 and an MS 360 VGA Cable.

Far better than running on an SDTV, no matter how big it is ;)

Thing is I'm going to set it up in the lounge.

That way I can play at night with Mrs. in bed out the way. ;)

You should give the advanced scart cable a shot if you have a spare RGB scart socket on your TV. Really sharpens things up :)

Everything goes through my amp and then into the TV.

The amp has component ins and outs... but I don't have a component to RGB scart to take the feed from the amp to the TV :(

The TV has tons of connectors etc in a drop down hatch thingy so I'm sure it'll be ok.

So, do I use those instead of a scart cable?

Yeah component input will give the best picture for your telly. Basically it just looks like three phono connectors- green, red and blue There will also be seperate red and white (or black) ones for the sound.

Mine started off in the lounge but I never got a chance to use it. Its now upstairs connected up to a 19" widescreen monitor so when Eastenders Street, or Corination Farm are on downstairs I shoot off and have an hour or so's gaming :o

Damn that looks good enough to eat. Might accidentally pour water down the current TV and claim on the home insurance.

Oops, must stop typing thoughts aloud.

It does make the world of difference on a 360 imo, thats the TV iv got, well worth it, specially seen as it doubles up as a secondary monitor for duel screening action.
