if the old owner did not hand in the change of ownership form, isn't it still their responsibility?
I couldn't claim from the previous owner, i wouldn't be able to deal with the guilt of bringing someone in who had nothing to do with it. Mind you i suppose they should have made sure the V5 was handed in. I dunno what to do![]()

Previous owners responsibility to send the log book away, so its their fault you dont know who the guy is (the way i see it anyway..)
Email me the reg number of the offending car and I'll check it out when I get 5minutes.
