320MB GTS Temps?

i overclocked my 8800gts 320mb, and most i got was 84degC under full load (atitool artifact scan). think stock it was about 70ish
 
Mine sits at 59ish idle - but I am having issues.

Vista x64
BFG GTS 320MB OC - 163.44 Beta Drivers (and KB940105 update)
2 GB Crucial Anni
DS3 (F12 bios)

Trying to run the World In Conflict demo, or even the the benchmark fails. It used to work, but now it just stutters and crashes to desktop reporting the driver has stopped working. Changing from DX10 -> DX9 or lowing the res does nothing.

Any ideas?
 
i had a few problems but deleted the demo because it was not my cup of tea! aside from that i think its the 320mb thing, there was a message on the left of the screen saying something about ram. this only happened with high/ultra settings and ran like a bag of spanners.
could be something totally different but i would try lower settings and see what happens?
 
i lowered my settings to medium (changes it to DX9 mode) and reduced the res from 1980x1200 to 1024x1024 or what ever it is....

Made no difference - Any suggestions anyone?
